Circular Fashion
Definition
A design and production philosophy where garments are created with their entire lifecycle in mind — designed for durability, repairability, and eventual recycling or composting. Circular fashion rejects the linear take-make-dispose model. Manufacturing decisions that support circularity include using mono-materials (easier to recycle), avoiding mixed-fibre blends, and designing for disassembly. It is moving from niche concept to mainstream industry expectation.
