Fit Sample

Definition

A sample garment produced specifically to evaluate fit, proportions, and construction accuracy against the tech pack. Fit samples are typically made in a base size (usually M) and assessed on a fit model or dress form. Corrections from fit sample review are incorporated into the pattern before grading to the full size range. Most orders require 1-2 fit sample rounds before approval.
