Definition

The overall method by which a garment is assembled — encompassing seam types, stitch classes, reinforcements, hem finishes, and the order of operations on the production line. A garment's construction specification is documented in the tech pack and directly impacts durability, fit, appearance, and production cost. Different garment categories require vastly different construction approaches.
